HEALTHCARE

Minimal disruption. Maximum care.

Precision renovations in active healthcare spaces, designed to integrate seamlessly into critical care environments without interrupting operations.

Lobby & reception renovations · Corridor & common areas · Emergency exit upgrades · Exterior safety infrastructure

A hospital can't close for renovations

Healthcare operates 24/7, demanding a level of construction discipline, dust containment, and quiet execution far beyond standard commercial work.

We specialize in high-traffic shared spaces — upgrading lobbies, main corridors, emergency routes, and perimeter safety infrastructure without interrupting clinical operations.

How we work inside an operating facility

How we protect staff, patients, and daily operations.

Dust containment

Sealed hoarding and negative air, so the work stays inside the work area.

Noise control

Loud work moves off-hours. Patients and staff aren't negotiable.

Phased access

Corridors and exits stay open. Circulation is planned before we start.

Daily coordination

Constant contact with facility staff, so nothing surprises anyone.
CLIENT WORK

The Michener Institute at UHN

Main lobby and reception rebuild — completed while the building stayed open and staffed.

Hospital reception desk staffed and operating while renovation work continues nearby

Before

Completed lobby renovation with new reception desk and backlit feature wall

After

The Michener Institute’s main lobby was the first thing every student, staff member and visitor passed through — and it hadn’t changed in decades. We replaced the reception millwork, ceiling and finishes, and installed the backlit polycarbonate feature wall that now defines the space.

The building stayed open the whole time. Reception kept answering phones and checking people in while we worked metres away, behind hoarding, on a schedule built around the campus day rather than ours.
